Introduction
On 06/10/2017 Riara University students took part in the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Institute Ethics Challenge. The competition took place at The Nairobi Securities Exchange from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The Challenge
The team from Riara University comprised of three 4th year students taking Bachelors of Business Administration (Finance). The CFA institute presented four cases to the teams drawn from both the public and private universities in Kenya.
The expectation of the institute was that each team present each case to clearly outline the ethical standards breached. The breach in the four cases ranged from peer to peer conversations to employee and employer interactions. The Riara University team had adequately prepared and therefore presented before a panel of judges. Despite the stiff competition, team Riara kept the fire burning throughout their presentation.
