Riara University main objective is to provide a rigorous, robust academic curriculum that sparks curiosity and imagination while teaching critical knowledge and skills to its students.
This has led to us  joining and receiving recognition as an Oracle Institutional Member. Our students will now be able to access courses designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills in areas of computer science that are universally in high demand across computing jobs and are recommended for use in technical schools and colleges/ universities.

RU Students will engage in hands-on learning and develop skills in Java Programming, Database Design, SQL and/or PL/SQL along with career skills such as problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking. The knowledge and practical skills students gain will help them advance their academic studies in computer science or enter the job market across industries. The students will enjoy a blended learning model that will combine hosted curriculum with classroom instruction, skill-building activities, and online assessments that provide immediate feedback.

RU staff and faculty will also enjoy free training opportunities. This will be available to those who want to brush up on their skills or who may be unfamiliar with our courses and/or the technologies covered.

The oracle training material is modular and will enable faculty to incorporate entire Oracle Academy courses or individual lessons or topics into their existing classes and programs of study. The training material that RU will have access to is designed to be delivered as part of an academic program of study, has educational learning objectives and is mapped and aligned to many relevant standards and exams globally. The Oracle Academy training material is easily integrated into existing classes, course offerings, and curriculum pathways because a number of ministries of education, organizations, and standards bodies have participated in mapping and aligning Oracle Academy curriculum to relevant standards around the world.

The skills and certifications that RU students will gain through the integration of the Oracle Academy courses into the RU curriculum will be recognized worldwide.
