Training & Capacity Building Programme at RU

The Riara University faculty (both full time and adjuncts) on 18th March 2016 concluded a six-week Certificate in Teaching at the University (CTU) training programme on effective learner-centred pedagogical approaches.

The programme was led by the Riara School of Education and facilitated by various resource persons drawn from RSE, RLS, SOB, RSF, SCS & Library.

Participants were made to engage with various learner-centred approaches that included:

a. Effective lesson planning

b. Application of the Bloom’s Taxonomy

c. Effective assessment

d. Inquiry-based learning

e. Group work

f. Case studies method

g. Socratic method

h. Library-supported learning

i. Technology-supported learning

j. Blended (holistic) method

k. Peer-reviews
