NBA Playoffs: A 3 point margin ensures RU Stays ahead to trounce TUK.

Riara University basketball men continued their winning streak this weekend by beating Technical University of Kenya with a three point margin at 66:63 in a hotly contested match. The Bucks had a clear 25 point before a determined TUK regained and gave a tough run in the last two quarters. RU’s Acuil Dhol managed to show off his slam dunk abilities in the third quarter.

Coach Zeddy told the boys to be vigilant in the play offs as anything is expected. No team should be underrated and it was going to get tougher as we move closer to the finals.

Team captain Nimrod Khane bagged (13) points, Evans Okuthe (10). TUK had, Mark Omondi (20) and Robert Simiyu (10).
Speaking after the match, Nimrod told the boys to fight for a win, despite the margin. “Commitment during trainings is key to ensuring the best team chemistry if we are to make it to the top.” he warned
