Victor Lando is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from the University of Nairobi as well as Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights and Democratisation from the University of Pretoria. He also holds certificates in strategic leadership and International Criminal Investigations from the Kenya School of Government and the Institute of International Criminal Investigations in the Hague, the Netherlands respectively. He is currently completing his Doctoral studies at the University of Pretoria. Victor brings on board 11 years’ experience in the legal sector with a specialty in Constitutional Litigation, Commercial law, Corporate law, Intellectual Property Law, Employment and Labour Relations as well as Human Rights, Humanitarian and Refugee law.
He has worked for a number of reputable institutions including the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, the International Rescue Committee and the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees. (UNHCR).
His research interests include human rights and regional integration, corruption and governance, comparative constitutionalism as well as international law.
He currently teaches legal research and writing and administrative law and is the faculty in charge of student activities and mentorship.
