Commission for University Education (CUE)

Riara University is established under the Universities Act (2012), having been approved by the Commission for University Education to operate under a Letter of Interim Authority since 2nd August, 2012.
In accordance with the provisions of the Act, the University is in the process of accreditation for Award of Full Charter and has already undergone the Technical Inspection by the Commission for University Education.This is the normal process for establishment of Universities in Kenya under the said Act and the University is hopeful that the Charter will be approved soon.

Council of legal Education (CLE)

The University is Fully Accredited by the Council of Legal Education. The Council of Legal Education (CLE) is the statutory regulator of Legal Education and Training in Kenya, among other functions as stipulated in the
Legal Education Act (2012). Only a handful of Universities in Kenya hold the status of Full Accreditation from CLE. Riara University is proud to have held the status of Full Accreditation from inception in 2012. In accordance with the provisions of the Legal Education Act, the University has undergone an inspection for re-accreditation after the statutory four (4) year period and is confident of retaining the Full Accreditation status.

Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB)

The University holds Full Accreditation status from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) as both a Training Centre as well as an Examinations Centre. The University runs Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Secretary (CS) and Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD) course under this accreditation.

SAP

Riara University is accredited by SAP under the SAP University Alliance Programme. SAP is a global leader in ICT Enterprise Application Software. Major corporates globally run on SAP Systems, including Riara University.
RU is one of only a couple of universities accredited by SAP to train in SAP Business One Applications.
